The 2009 Great Southwest Track & Field Classic was a rousing success with several nationally recognized perfromances. The 35th edition of the meet has been scheduled for June 5, 2010. Mulit-events will be contested on June 3 and 4. The Great Southwest is a regional meet primarily for high school athletes in the nine states encompassing the area.
